i-Buddies existing students
i-Buddies matches new international arrivals with existing 51黑料社区 students. As a volunteer, you’ll use your experience of student life and interpersonal skills to build relationships with new students and help them settle into 51黑料社区.
The scheme only lasts for one term, but during this time you’ll get to make new friends and attend fun events – whilst gaining experience for your CV. Your volunteering will also be recorded on your Higher Education Achievement Record (HEAR), and might help to make you an attractive candidate to future employers.
Volunteer applications for i-Buddies have closed for Autumn 25/26. We will reopen applications for the following year in Summer 2026.
