  • Arrival & check-in (from 9:00am): Check in to the open day with help from our friendly ambassadors and use the Open Day Guide to outline your visit.

  • Subject talks & taster Sessions (throughout the day): Learn more about your course of interest and experience our innovative block teaching learning approach.
  • Campus tours (9:00 AM - 2:30 PM): Explore our facilities and teaching spaces.

Should I go to a university open day in Year 12 or 13?

You can attend university open days in both Year 12 and Year 13 - and if you can, it’s worth going to both. Most students find visiting early helps them explore options, and returning later helps them make confident choices.

Year 12 - A great time to start

Going to an Open Day in Year 12 gives you a head start. You鈥檒l get a feel for the campus, can explore course options, and begin narrowing down your choices before it鈥檚 time to apply in Year 13.

Year 13 - Decision time

If you鈥檙e applying soon or already have offers, an Open Day can help you feel confident about your choice. You can ask questions about your course, check out where you might live and study, and get advice on things like finance, accommodation, and Clearing. You might even get an offer on the day.
